The guitar: very nice quality, simple to put together but the instructions, I will admit were a little crammed together and made for a little bit more time setting it up than I would've like to spend on it. The App: At first was a NIGHTMARE. After HOURS of looking up reddit pages, reviews, ect. Finally, found a solution after uninstalling the app and reinstalling it and using my laptop, I was able to update the firmware. I was finally able to change the RGB lighting, ect. Love it!

This app works, but there are a few things to keep in mind to limit frustration. I'm working from a Pixel 10, NFC & LOCATION MUST BE ON. When connecting to the CTRL area, the initial setup went smoothly, firmware flashed. After is when the frustration occurs and it no longer connects. UNINSTALLING AND REINSTALLING AFTER FIRMWARE UPDATE to accept reset near location permissions allows the controller to connect to the app as intended. This troubleshooting is not clearly indicated. Hope this helps!!

Works well, but I wish there was a way to remap the analog sticks to different buttons, so I could strum with the analog stick using the Neo S with a 5 frets attachment

Downloaded it to tweak some settings for the $130 guitar I paid for. Updated the firmware now my guitar won't connect to the app and also doesn't work correctly on clone hero anymore. Spent two hours trying every trick in the book to get their app to connect again, and it simply won't. Blows my mind how a controller manufacturer can't get something as simple as Bluetooth right. NEVER buying a CRKD product again.

To reliably connect the guitar you must hold the CTRL star power button a few seconds before touching the pair button on the app otherwise the app WILL time out before the guitar and it connects. You cannot do them at the same time for anyone with issues. I also can't recommend updating via the app as it temporarily bricked my device until I updated via the desktop updater

The controller linked perfectly. Firmware failed to update so I updated through pc, now the controller won't connect to the app at all. But the guitar works outside star-power so I mean.... yay?
