I love cryptic crosswords and Crossword Solver has often bailed me out, and taught me some new words. Especially helpful when I tackle a UK puzzle.

Outstanding This is the best app I've found for cryptic crosswords, allowing for input of known letters as well as possible anagrams. The interface works so well, quickly toggling between common and rare words, and the inbuilt dictionary is very quick and comprehensive. I am usually pretty stingy with paying for apps, but felt I had had such good value from the free app that I had to donate. Had just been waiting for qwerty and now that's here I have had to cough up.

Wasted 70p I do apologize but this app crashed a few times and the results are never displayed even with basic regex.
