Description
The Crystal Clear Electronics curriculum was successfully completed by our partnership by 2020, and in the 2020/2021 school year, it has already been introduced by several educational institutions. During the implementation of the project, many readers articulated their need to continue the curriculum. After consultation with the authors and the representatives of the partnership, we decided to compile the topic of the Crystal Clear Electronics 2 curriculum. Our project "Developing an Innovative Curriculum on Electronics and Programming for Public Education" was supported by the Tempus Public Foundation under the Erasmus+ program, giving us the opportunity to develop an innovative, hands-on, programming-focused electronic curriculum. The basic and background knowledge that is absolutely necessary for understanding the curriculum is included in the first chapters, and then we start from the programming of simpler circuits to more complex software controls, and finally to embedded operating systems. Like the first volume, the second part of Crystal Clear Electronics places a special emphasis on the transfer of practical knowledge, interactive education, for which there is a practical example embedded in the chapters for each relevant step.
The examples can be tested with the help of a specially designed development panel and the sample codes that can be downloaded together with the curriculum, so that readers can actually test themselves as programmers from Chapter 4 and onwards. During the Crystal Clear Electronics specialties, study groups and international educational events, the majority of students worked on laptops, but the same proportion of PDFs was opened on mobile phones. It immediately became clear that learning would be aided by an intuitive mobile application in which the various resources would be available in a structured way.
