I loved kaleidoscopes as a kid and always thought they would make an awesome music visualizer. This app, although not a true kaleidoscopic effect, comes closest to what I've been looking for. The customizability (is that an even a word?) allows for a much more personal experience. However, it needs two things, first a full screen function that hides the home row and edge screen button. Second, this needs to have a screensaver/lock screen function, that would make it a truly superlative app!

I have tested a lot of animated backgrounds, and this is definitely in my list of top 5. There are no limitations on running it in both Lock & Home screens. It's constantly changing, so it feels like I never see the same pattern twice. And the colors, depth, and animation, are nothing short of breathtaking. Thank you! EDIT 1-16-21: The newest version fixed bugs EDIT: 11-12-24 l've had this on my last 3 phones, it doesn't hurt the battery, it looks amazing, and I get tons of compliments.

Extremely disappointed. Free app or not you shouldn't have to pay to use your own music. I highly recommend using Power amp instead.
