Honestly you might think it's a lil pricey but with their new pricing model it so much more affordable IMO after you get the equipment. I can tell you how many times this lil device and app have our family a piece of mind. The rapid test would show negative, but this will show positive. It is more thorough and more reliable. If you can split cost with family it beco way more economical. Definitely will recommend anyone still wants needs to know a Covid status in quick reliable way.

Cue Health provides a very convenient home testing laboratory, giving knowledge and peace of mind when testing for COVID-19 as well as other possible diseases for which Cue is working to implement testing. The app does have a very annoying login screen: it never remembers that I have it already set up for biometric and I have to tap 3 times just to get to the screen where I can then log in with my fingerprint. I hope they will fix this nuisance soon

The app works with the device perfectly. Taking a star off because multiple people can be hard to manage leading to tests being done on another family member profile. Also, the app suggests buying more tests as part of the test process which is unnecessary.

Save your money! Very unreliable app and test module. I've burned through several tests when the app and reader disconnected or there was an issue with the cartridge. Given how expensive these cartridges are, they are a total waste of money. I'd recommend buying your usual test @$20, versus using something that is extremely unreliable.

Update 2023: after updating the firmware, the device can't be paired anymore. Login to Cue app also timeout and failed most of the time. The reader became a trash now. The UX design is terrible. The firmware update window prevent me from seeing the test result that I just did. I also can't do the firmware update since the cartridge is still inside, and I haven't seen the result yet. The app will fail to connect to a reader if you insert a new cartridge into the reader.
