How to use CustoMIUIzer?
You have to have (Ed)Xposed Framework installed. For more info about Xposed refer to the original thread1 or github repo2 of EdXposed (for Android 8-10 if official framework doesn't work).
Enable CustoMIUIzer module in (Ed)Xposed Installer, reboot, set up mods you like and select 'Soft Reboot' from menu.

Backup functionality

Very good and powerful app But in the latest versions if u enable fast flashlight with power button waking the screen or unlocking the phone becomes so laggy and if u clock many times on the power button it turns the flash and the screen on at the same time I disabled that option and the phone is no longer laggy Xiaomi note 8 android 10 miui 12.0.2

It does everything EXCEPT reveal status bar icons. It can hide icons but on my devices icons (for all non-system apps) are hidden by default (with no settings to show status bar icons). Soi rooted phone, installed twrp, installed xposed, installed customizer just so that I can enable icons. AND so disappointed there is no option for that. Waste of time
