CW Master

CW Master brings traditional Morse code into a modern, mobile learning environment. It is designed for complete beginners as well as experienced CW operators who want to improve their speed, rhythm, accuracy and confidence.

Start with your first dit and dah and progress step by step towards confident CW operation. Structured lessons, interactive exercises and practical games allow everyone to learn at their own pace and without pressure.

CW Master combines everything needed for effective Morse code training:

• Learn Morse code by listening
• Practise letters, groups, words, numbers, special characters, Q-codes and call signs
• Develop accurate CW writing and copying skills
• Use structured listening exercises based on proven learning methods
• Adjust CW speed, tone pitch and Farnsworth spacing
• Practise with a touchscreen paddle or straight key
• Decode CW through the smartphone microphone
• Use light-based Morse code with the smartphone camera and flash
• Create and practise personal training texts
• Improve your skills through interactive games and practical exercises
• Read guides, background information and helpful CW learning advice
• Meet and practise with real people in the integrated German and English CW Chat

No expensive equipment is required to begin. A smartphone is enough to access the complete learning environment.

For an even more authentic operating experience, CW Master also supports an optional CW dongle. The dongle connects compatible physical paddles or a Morse key to the smartphone, creating a realistic keying experience similar to traditional CW equipment.

With the optional dongle, users can develop real hand coordination, timing, rhythm and muscle memory. This provides valuable preparation for future on-air CW operation and real radio contacts.

The dongle can also be used inside the worldwide CW Chat. Users can send CW with a physical paddle or key and communicate live with real people around the world. Other participants can see and hear the transmitted Morse code in the chat.

This creates a unique training environment: users do not practise only against automatic exercises, but can also experience real-time CW conversations with other learners and experienced operators. The CW Chat works with or without the dongle, so everyone can participate.

CW Master is suitable for radio amateurs, future operators, shortwave listeners, students and anyone fascinated by Morse code. Beginners receive a clear learning path from the first signal onwards, while advanced users can improve their speed, refine their timing and practise realistic CW communication.

One app. One smartphone. An optional hardware keying experience. A complete path from the first dit to confident CW operation.

CW Master is available in English and German.
