This is one of the best apps ever made for Android devices, and it's free. It's fast and reliable and supports network and cloud storage as well as the Android Storage Access Framework (SAF), so you can access it from within many apps. Works on Android TV / Google TV. Displays large folders quickly, allows convenient mass deleting of files, can play audio or video. Sister app by Alpha Inventor to File Manager Plus: buy that to support them. Incredible effort. Just wish it was open-source.

Genuinely THE best file explorer app. I've been using it for years, and it never gave me an issue. Lets me share files with windows without the need of any software (or cables). No ads, no nonsense. Just one missing feature, dark mode, and it would be perfect.

Do not believe the number of stars for reviews of this app. The first time I opened it it demanded a 5* review on the front screen implying that either I give it 5* now or tell it I will do so later. This level of begging people who have never yet used the app for a 5* review is frankly pathetic and shows zero confidence in the quality of their app.

Won't let me access files without selecting them for access, and then won't let me select them for access because of privacy concerns. Useless.
