We believe there is a better way to use insulin! d-Nav® is here to improve and simplify insulin therapy.
Hygieia's d-Nav® app is an FDA-cleared prescription-only product that calculates the next dose of insulin to aid in optimizing insulin management. If you are using any type of insulin to treat your type 2 diabetes, but haven’t yet reached your blood glucose or Hemoglobin A1c targets, talk to your doctor about getting a referral to the d-Nav Insulin Guidance Service to use the d-Nav app.
The d-Nav app allows your diabetes care team to customize an insulin treatment plan for you. Once they set up your specific plan, the d-Nav app will guide you dose by dose until your treatment targets are reached. Your team will be able to follow your progress and edit your plan as needed.
Once installed, the d-Nav app will provide you with a recommended dose prior to each insulin injection. To get a recommended dose you start by measuring your glucose then entering your sugar level into the app (if you’re using a connected meter this step happens automatically). You will be prompted to select an event based on your insulin treatment plan, for instance “Lunch,” and d-Nav would then recommend your insulin dose. All you have to do is to inject the recommended amount of insulin.

Their customer consulting is outstanding, but the app. Itself is very disappointing. It's clunky and inflexible. Worst thing - Android version is "Second Sister" to Apple. Something as simple as "Time Stamping" can't be adjusted for actual Time Zone. It's always off by 7 or 8 hours and can NOT be adjusted due to programming issues they refuse to fix. Apple version is cleaner, quicker and appears to always work (I've had both, but must use Android professionally).
