This is a song most of us know from Sunday School which tells us the importance of prayer. As believers, we get to connect with God through prayer. In the Bible there are different types of prayer. When talking to God, it is considered as prayer. In some pages the Bible used the "I pray" thee when one of the disciples was talking to his fellow disciple.

Prayer is not a formula that we should follow. It is one of the ways to connect to God. There are different types of prayers and we as children of God have the liberty to pray depending on the situation we are in. When you are sick, you pray for your healing, when you are in debt, you pray that God helps you to get the means to pay off your debt.
Our life is a life of prayer. What determines us from all other people is the God we pray to. We as Christians, we don't pray to the sun, nor moon or other graven images. We pray to God the Father through His One and Only Son Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ died for us all to remove our sins and to restore us to our created value. Who you were is not what you are today. You are a new creation, a creature that never existed. You are born of God and as such a child of the Most High God. Children of God love to talk to their Father and that is why we pray.

Don’t make prayer only about pleading for something. Learn to spend time with God and enjoy His presence. He can give you whatever you need but don’t seek Him because you want those things. He loves you more than the present you are going in for from Him.

We should let our prayer life speak volume. It should speak of the fragrance of heaven. It should let us walk in the newness of life. Prayer should refresh us and cause us to walk boldly in whatever situation we encounter. A praying man is never a defeated man. We are called to house of prayer. Prayer works even if you believe it not. Don’t be deceived by the devil that it doesn’t work.

By popular request, we have a complete offline of praying the scripture app. In our opinion the online version is the best but since not all users have internet all the time, we thought it wise to develop an offline version.
Hopefully we will update it with more prayers as time goes by.
