Description

DarkLens allows you to take better photos in low-light conditions by applying filters in real time to your device's camera.

These filters increase the brightness and apply color gradients to camera images. They require some light to work and won't work in completely dark environments.

In the app, various settings allow you to select a filter, adjust the brightness or zoom in.

This app contains ads and a subscription called Pro that unlocks advanced features: removal of ads, video recording, selfie mode, different aspect ratios, more filters.

Please note that this app is not a night vision camera or thermal camera.

App is actually pretty great, honestly thought it would just slap a green filter on top of the camera. This actually does work, not as good as a highly professional infrared camera but works decently nonetheless. This app is a great choice considering it is free for normal and basic usage.

The point of night vision it's to see in the dark yet this app needs light to show anything

I was looking for an app that would enable my smartphone to take night vision photos. Darkens only simulates what an actual low light camera or viewing device does. It does absolutely nothing but apply a full screen filter with color choices to your camera. I am not satisfied with Darkens and because of my lack of satisfaction I have since deleted Darkens. The adds do not bother me. It's the only economical way to bring free apps to the poorer portion of the population.
