Description
As you slowly regain consciousness your eyes begin to focus on your surroundings. You find yourself alone in an unfamiliar room with no memory of how you came to be there. Moonlight streams through a small barred window illuminating the musty stale air. How long have you been here? Worn stone steps lead up to a wooden door, you grip the cold metal handle and turn but it’s locked from the other side - are you a prisoner? Can you escape?
Prepare to explore a mysterious manor house and the fog shrouded moors which encompass it. Solve puzzles and search for clues to discover the manor’s secrets and ultimately escape from Darkmoor. This is a point and click adventure designed exclusively for mobile platforms.

As others mentioned, it is short. This is a free demo with the option to pay to unlock the full game. The demo portion gives you access to about 6 rooms and can be solved in under half an hour. I found the story intriguing and graphics well done. It's nothing spectacular, but it was very enjoyable. Several reviews claim it ends abruptly, but I disagree; if you've been reading the journal pages you can piece together what happened and the story is concluded before the last door.

One of the first point and click adventure games I ever played, and I still love it. If you like exploring a once grand, but now decaying, old Gothic/Victorian Mansions, you'll love it. The haunting, melancholy background music adds to the creepy, but beautiful atmosphere. I enjoyed reading the journal entries-it made this almost feel like a walk through graphic novel. Since this is an old game, don't expect a lot of 'bells and whistles' like skip features, cut scenes, fast travel maps etc...

The game is good, but having to buy hints sucks and is costing me too much, wish it was like True Fear, where hints are free, so I am deleting your game
