Darlington Town Centre Trails

Darlington is a historical borough built on steam power and the determination to change the world. A population with coal, fire and steel in our blood. A creative and cultural community with an award-winning theatre, arts venues, and an unrivalled independent food scene. A retail hotspot where high street brands meet local sellers. A destination easily reached by road, rail and air. A location where a town meets the River Skerne and a countryside dotted with castles, scenic walks and villages.

Our historic town centre is full of places to go and things to do and this app will help guide you around. You could fill your day by shopping with our huge range of independents and high street brands. You could catch the latest blockbuster at the cinema or see a show in one of our theatres. You could brush up on our Victorian roots with our heritage trail or simply enjoy one of our many incredible cafes and watch the world go by.

In this app, you'll find a range of trails to help you explore the town centre in new ways. Click the trails button at the bottom of the page to see the full list of trails, and keeping checking back to see when we upload new ones.

This app makes use of GPS to show you places of interest close to your current location. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
