Was excited to see the "new" day map, as teachers and parents agreed the old version is garbage. Surprise! This is just as bad. Obviously no one bothered to look at it in android, the 3 line navigation icon, student name and photo, display over the phone's status bar and can not be viewed clearly or accessed. Old version gave access to attendance data, etc. at a tap, this doesn't. Hugely disappointing. Update- won't even send an absence notification

One of the worst apps I have ever used, and I am shocked at the poor level of development & testing. High school students could create a better App than this Doesn't display all assessments. We're at a critical exam time and nothing is displaying past 20 Oct. Log into the website and see it all there. I look forward to the day the school changes systems

Moved onto this app at the prompt of Day map Mobile only to find this can't do basic things like to view assignment results. Shouldn't have been launched in this form but has been left like this with missing features for months. UPDATE: This capability is now in Day map Companion, but the notifications from Day map still say these are only accessible in Day map Mobile or Day map Connect. The first thing shown on the Assessment screen in Companion is a message about features not available in Companion.

Downloaded the ap after being told I needed to. Cannot for the life of me work out how to submit an absence, the button is not there. The interface is ridiculous, with buttons on the lower part of the ap in line with the home button of my phone, rendering them non-functional. I'll have to keep using the web version.

This app really is terrible. It's frustratingly unintuitive, poorly implemented and glitchy. What were the software developers thinking when they put this hot mess together, and why are schools using it??
