Comments on Deadly Standing - A Survival Game for Android

★★★★★ Genius Kojumbo has done it again. Following the end of Alloy Cog Hard V: The Ghostly Boo Boo, the cancelled and highly-anticipated masterpiece P.T. (a.k.a Potato Thriller), AND his departure from Kumnumi, Genius Kojumbo's future in the franchise was left in serious doubt. I was considering sudoku. But then I came across Deadly Standing in the app store and knew THIS was to be his magnum opus. "The flask have baby, protect baby flask". It's perfect in its simplicity, but complex in its subtlety. This game has many layers. The Tokyo Game Show was just yesterday, and despite the Deadly Standing's release, Genius Kojumbo is STILL giving us trailers for this game. It has been confirmed: Roy Paker has been confirmed for the game, alongside Gorman Freedus, Mad Michaelson, Guacamole Del Doro, Lé Deabow, and Lindsuh Wogner. Giving the fans a trailer AFTER the game's release is a bold move, but his genius is unparalleled and we cannot even hope to understand his inner workings as a game dev.

★★☆☆☆ The genius did it again.. Another terrible game.. The tagine should be; "Protect the flask, save memory space on your phone". Controls terribly too.

★★☆☆☆ The touch controls are way too sensitive and you cannot inverse the Y axis. No way to adjust controls. Very disappointing!

★★☆☆☆ This is a truly sad attempt at trying to clone Hideo Kojima's yet-to-be-released Death Stranding. The graphics look like an early PlayStation game, the controls absolutely suck, the AI of the enemies make Patrick Star look like Albert Einstein in comparison, and there are ads all over the place. I highly recommend sparing yourself from this game and wait for Death Stranding to actually come out.
