Decane Gas

Welcome to Decane Gas, a fast and friendly arcade game set inside a living oil refinery.

Hydrocarbon molecules bubble up from the furnace of your distillation column. Each one carries a carbon count, and each one belongs to a different fuel fraction. Your job is simple to learn and hard to master: grab every rising molecule and drag it into the side outlet that matches its chain length.

Light GAS molecules (C1-C4) shoot out near the top. NAPHTHA (C5-C9) and KEROSENE (C10-C16, home of decane) leave through the middle draws. HEAVY residue (C17 and up) sinks to the lowest outlet. Route a molecule into the correct colored band to score, and chain perfect routings together to build a combo multiplier.

But the column never sleeps. Vapor rises faster and faster, molecules crowd the tower, and every wrong outlet or escaped molecule costs you a life. Lose all your gaskets and the shift is over.

Earn coins on every run and spend them in the refinery shop on permanent upgrades: a Coolant Loop that slows the vapor, Wide Draw Trays that forgive sloppy aim, a Spare Gasket for an extra life, and a Lucky Catalyst that boosts your coin income.
