★★★★★ Decarbon makes it easy to track my carbon footprint patterns (key word - PATTERNS) and really gives me an easy way to see where I should cut back to make me more responsible guy. As the app creators said it’s really like a Fitbit to track my carbon footprint. Because of this, it’s important to remember that the app is best to track trends over time, not measure each and every activity/purchase’s CO2 output.

★★★★★ Spotless, straightforward app that helps you track your carbon footprint based on purchases you've made. I like that you can manually add items (sort of like a calorie counter? For the earth?) or have them linked based on a card or account. The new beta option to purchase offsets is SUPER cool.

★★☆☆☆ Great Hustle. LOL! I don't understand how buying a carbon credit makes a difference in carbon output. Taking a dollar seems like such a small thing, who'd miss it, right? Not everything good for the climate can be bought or show on a ledger. Not everything "good"for the climate is recognized or understood exactly... My frugal, diy, nearly off grid lifestyle isn't represented here. It's good to care about the earth, but this is a way to be trendy & pay to feel good about "caring".
