This app helps me to open up and organize my thoughts/feelings in a way that I can understand. I usually bottle things up and don't talk to friends or family about how I'm doing, but it's easy to talk to the AI therapist. Definitely would recommend.

It's ok on the surface and I found it alright for a little while. But you start to see the same advice over and over and over again. Mediation and deep breathing are not the answers to all my problems. It keeps suggesting I bake some healthy alternatives despite the fact that I told it over and over that I don't have an oven. Recently it stopped processing my sessions properly as well, so I don't know what I'm paying for exactly. I'm pausing my subscription because it isn't worth it.

THE CHATBOT IS SUPPOSED TO REMEMBER CONVERSATIONS YET SOMEHOW IT CONVENIENTLY DIDNT RECORD THE MESSAGES WHERE I REQUESTED MY CANCELATION. NOW, I'M OUT THE MONTHLY FEE & DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO THE SUBSCRIPTION. THEY ONLY THING THEY REPLIED BY EMAIL WAS SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. You all don't realize what you're doing by developing this. You're putting amazing therapists such as my mother put of business and will mislead people into thinking this is real therapy. Therapy is about making a connection and a bond of trust with a real person giving advice that they are qualified to give amd maybe helping you get diagnosed, therapy can ONLY be done properly with a real compassionate human being and trust me this is NOT the future we want.

There are two kinds of therapy: running the CBT script/framework, and providing empathy and understanding. Both have their uses, but it's much easier to "do" CBT, because it's already basically an algorithm. I'm giving one star because the onboarding process misled me to believing this AI is *also* capable of the latter. In reality, its "emotional support/good listener/kind understanding" is just a token "I understand that you feel that way" immediately followed by CBT problem-solving.
