DEPS Add & Subtract

DEPS Add & Subtract turns addition and subtraction into a colorful adventure. Children don't just memorize answers — they learn the strategies that real mental math is built on, one playful world at a time.

8 WORLDS, 8 STRATEGIES
• Ten Bridge – make a ten first, then add the rest (8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4)
• Hundreds Castle – jump rows of ten and squares of one on the hundreds chart
• Break & Build – add tens to tens and ones to ones with base-ten blocks
• Kangaroo Jumps – hop along an empty number line
• Missing Piece – solve subtraction by adding on, with story problems and bar models
• Magic Adjust – use a friendly number and fix it, or keep the same difference
• Trading Market – the written column method with trades, shown the way it is taught in your country
• Estimation Arena – over or under, rounding, front-end estimates and Box Math

LEARNS FROM MISTAKES
Boss levels include an "Error Hunter": spot a friend's typical mistake (like 56 + 97 = 1413) and fix it. When your child makes one of these common mistakes, DEPS notices it and re-teaches the idea step by step with the strategy your child picked.

MADE FOR EVERY CLASSROOM
• Grades 1–6: difficulty adapts to your child's grade and speed
• 8 languages: English, Turkish, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Arabic and Russian
• Local math notation: decimal commas, Arabic-Indic digits, and the written subtraction method used in your country (borrowing or equal additions)

FUN THAT BRINGS THEM BACK
Stars, chests, a daily streak, a closet full of outfits for Deps, and a 60-second Speed Round with a weekly class leaderboard (nicknames only).

FOR PARENTS AND TEACHERS
• Detailed progress report by email: what your child can do, what needs practice and which misconceptions appeared
• Follow code to see progress from another device
• Daily play limit and parent PIN
• No ads, no tracking, no account

Activities are based on Chapter 11 of John A. Van de Walle's "Elementary and Middle School Mathematics: Teaching Developmentally".
