This is actually a really well-designed app! It automatically changes the translation to your system language, and the hints are -very- useful information to be constantly reminded about. The app paired with Alex TTS engine makes it also great for hearing how the words are pronounced. A suggestion might be to allow us to bookmark words or for the app to store on our device which words we get wrong and give us an option to review them later.

You choose really obscure words like "der Child" meaning buckler? Whatever that is. I've spoken with a few German friends who say they have never heard of that word and one of them is in her 80s. The more common "das Child" meaning a sign would be more useful everyday word as an alternative.

This app is quite nice, but it would IMHo be better if when you select the wrong option it only showed a white background and a color when the correct option is selected. This way the learner only sees the correct color with the correct word and learns more quickly. Also, why do you highlight some letters? It is better not to show this or allow users to turn this off if they don't want it. Thanks for a pretty good app.
