I love to read the Deseret News every day because of the variety of articles both national and local. UPDATE - I love the Deseret News as stated, but I can no longer see it on my phone.... I've uninstalled it 3 times and tried to reinstall, but it's not working. So for right now.... I miss it!

What happened to the wonderful newspaper and app I used to enjoy? Way too many hit pieces on conservatism. Don't mind being fair, but you've moved so far-left you've left America! Deleted your app and no longer take the paper. Far better resources out there.

This news source has begun to lean "left of center," as they say. They won't lie to you, but they won't tell you even half the facts. The latest example is an article on Kari Lake and why she 'lost' her election as governor. The article also claims that it's a fact that the election in 2020 was not stolen. Have they not heard of "2000 mules anyone"? So sad to see church opened media become biased 😢 and for the left!

The problem with this app is the content! A highly questionable news source, often insulting and contentious to most followers of Christ. **DOES NOT follow its own standards or mission statement ** Try the Church News app for truthful information about the Church of Jesus Christ.

Just uninstalled. I used to love the Desert News. Every notification is an opinion article for clickbait. They have gone from a moderate, unbiased voice to pushing agendas and taking stances to get the clicks. I want more facts and reporting and less opinion. We get enough opinion from everywhere else.
