Description
Devotion is a tool of affirmation from Embrace which tailors messages for its beloved users dependent upon the user’s gender and mood. This delightful app started out as a tool to affirm those who happen to be transgender, however, anyone is able and welcome to receive words of encouragement.
This app asks for your name and pronouns to allow you to receive intentional affirmations. You are able to switch between four moods (Content, Anxious, Brave or Lonely) to customize the kind of message you wish to receive. These affirmations are written by a real person.
You can expect to receive affirmations Monday through Friday, and the time notifications are sent varies daily.
Devotion is free to use; however, I recently added some premium features should you wish to subscribe. You can still access Devotions and receive notifications at no charge. This technology was created to make people happy and inspire hope that will never change.

Cool app. I get a lot out of things like affirmations and have been looking for an app that might take trans people into account. Very simple with a variety of message types. Usually cute, a bit funny, supportive, or cheesy (cheese is a package deal with affirmations in general tbh). I like this kinda stuff. I've mostly been "content" so can't say how diff the other setting are. If you like affirmation-y messages, I'd rec checking it out for a week or so to see if you like it.

Make me feel good. I'll be having a bad day, and Devotion will send the little affirmation. Easy to use too. I heard of the app from Solace. I recommend both Edit: If I could do 4 and a half stars instead, I would. But this is googled play so ya. Everything is amazing except you can't change the name for the affirmation.

This is an amazing app! I do have one complaint tho. I'd like to put in my own pronouns if possible, and maybe be able to change them by going into the 'update your devotion' tab at the bottom. Maybe having some other features like customizing colors for your app, or having a journal added in would be nice! I also can't go back and change my pronouns after setting them when going to the 'update your devotion' tab at the bottom. But otherwise, an overall good app!

I was installing this app, hoping to find some quotes to make me feel less alone. But all I got was a single bland message that doesn't really provide emotion or tenderness, more so just small talk. Didn't make me happy.

I don't know why this requires I give you my email address for nothing but giving me a quote. There's almost nothing in this app. I expected maybe a bit more since it seems to require an account.

When I try to log in using my data, I get a message saying something went wrong even though my brain info is correct. I'm sad. Used to have this app on my other phone, would love to have it on my current phone. Alas, it does not work. Could this please be fixed?
