The new Dexcom Follow App is part of the Dexcom SHARE® system. Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app. Dexcom Follow works seamlessly with your loved one’s Dexcom CGM, giving you visibility into their glucose data, even when they’re far away. Dexcom Follow allows you to view and follow their glucose levels, trends and data right from the app. Whether your child is in school, your parent lives independently, or your partner is traveling, Dexcom Follow helps you stay connected and informed. With Dexcom Follow, you can: • Receive glucose information of up to 25 different Sharers – children, friends, or other loved ones – if you know multiple people with diabetes • Respond quickly with the help of customizable glucose alerts and push notifications that can inform you when a Sharer’s glucose levels are outside of target range

I'd love a 1X1 widget that is just a big digital BG #. I had issues with getting alerts at night, and it turns out that even though I had follow allowed through DND there is a different version of DND built into my samsung sleep routine. So, when the sleep routine would trigger, the old app had been in the allow list, but the new one wasn't. It took me months of no nighttime alerts to finally figure it out.

Good but have suggestions (could be great).......... I am a caregiver for my child who has T1D. He is old enough to have a phone but not old enough to be responsible to dose his meds. I love the follow app for the fact I can see his numbers remotely and its options. A major issue for me is that I can not log or even see his dosage, carbs he was dosed. Which means, I can not see if he doses at school, or if I forget what time I dosed him I have to go chase him down and look at his phone.

Previously, this app worked relatively fine, it's missing some essential features, but the main thing is it alerts you when your readings are too high or too low. Now for the bad news. After the last app update, the alert sound has changed to four harsh beeps. Even after going into settings and realizing that the alert sounds are still set to their original nice sound. The alert sound that plays is not the sound that I've picked, so what's the point.

I accidentally hit unfollow instead of the notification off, when I was woken up from a dead sleep ugh. And now, I can't get dexcom to send a code to our email address because they connection error on their side!! All day I've been trying to them to send a code, so I can follow my elderly mom's dexcom, and they have connection issues!

When the app works, it's wonderful. But when it doesn't, it is super stressful on me and my T1D 16-year-old. His app is working perfectly. At this moment, I haven't seen data on the follow app for him since 2pm yesterday.
