Description
The new Dexcom Follow App is part of the Dexcom SHARE® system. Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app. Dexcom Follow works seamlessly with your loved one’s Dexcom CGM, giving you visibility into their glucose data, even when they’re far away. Dexcom Follow allows you to view and follow their glucose levels, trends and data right from the app. Whether your child is in school, your parent lives independently, or your partner is traveling, Dexcom Follow helps you stay connected and informed. With Dexcom Follow, you can: • Receive glucose information of up to 25 different Sharers – children, friends, or other loved ones – if you know multiple people with diabetes • Respond quickly with the help of customizable glucose alerts and push notifications that can inform you when a Sharer’s glucose levels are outside of target range

App is nice, widget needs TLC app doesn't respect volume settings. That's both good and bad. I should t have to open the app to adjust the volume of the alarms, it should be tied to notification settings for the os. That said, I'm grateful the app exisist at all. The desktop widget on oneui 8 is only showing 2 digits. Thank you for the panic this morning folks. She was a bit high at 254, my lock screen showed a 25. Good thing we double-checked before taking action.

Important message developer to developer: Work on the variety of notification tones. Give user many options of sounds and vibrations a soft tone when things are starting to go off the rails building to a code red fire alarm. When you get frequent notifications, and it's annoying with no smooth ramp eople turn it off. Others may feel false fear. At scale someone turned it off and bad things happend. You missed user engagement when it mattered most.

The old follow app was great, this new version is constantly alarming for no data. I can't believe this has not been sorted already.

Disgraceful Dexcom, you have added this app that still doesn't work very well without informing users of the "old" app which just stopped working without any notification - this is a life or death app for users so not informing them is paramount to assisted death. Shameful absolutely shameful. This "new" app is worse than the old app in so many ways - it will not update readings for well over 5 minutes now whilst the "old" app was very consistent in the timings. Shame on you Dexcom.
