Description

The Dhyāna app is a collection of wisdom for every day of the year from masters of Tibetan Buddhism and Zen. Dhyana refers to the mental state of stillness and freedom of thought. In Indian philosophy, the Sanskrit word dhyana stands for the higher states of consciousness of meditation. With Buddhism, the term Dhyāna came to China as Chan and to Japan as Zen. The programme shows the texts against a background of images from all over the world. You can select the wisdom of the day, but also choose a random wisdom and create a list of personal favourites.
