Description
Speech and voice recognition and synthesis in more than 30 languages.
Dictation system: Speak one or more sentences to Dictus and convert them to text. The text can be sent as SMS or e-mail, or copied and used in any program on your Android unit.
Speak clearly, using everyday language, without background noise, and you will experience excellent recognition. The text may then automatically be read aloud by one of several synthetic voices, as any text from any program on your smartphone, e.g. e-mail, may be copied to Dictus and read aloud.
It is up to 5 times faster recording and recognizing a text with Dictus than tapping it into a smartphone. For dyslexics in particular, Dictus provides invaluable benefits.

I'm getting to master it a little bit better so I'm able to stay within 400 limit. Im very positively impressed by this app. Hope that in the future there will be no limitations. Thanks Quality of recognition software is very good. however the 400 limit in a paid software is annoying. Consider this input method becomes most useful with large text in which case the limit is easily reached leaving most of the work to normal typing. Until limit is removed it wll remain partially useful app.

Samsung Note 2 Surprisingly competent app, as good as I could hope for, simple to use, worked with no set up. Reports are now so easy. Struggled with medical jargon. I can leave behind DragonNS at last, & work away from PC. Will need data or wifi connection. Reads your text back in any foreign accent - hilarious! Can't translate but you can just paste into other translation apps.

Appen genkender mindre end 10% Desværre er appen helt ubrugelig. Lige meget hvor tydeligt jeg artikulerer, så genkender den så godt som ingenting. Den har heller ikke nogen læringsfunktion. Spild af penge. Det må I sgu gøre bedre.

Poor voice to text conversion and interface Main issue is that the voice to text conversion itself is poor and gets many words wrong. Interface is also poor - need to keep pressing the record button for long text and keyboard editing capability (e.g. to correct errors) is very clunky.

Auto pause is a pain This is so Good on so many levels, but the auto pause ruins it. If you pause speech for a moment, it pauses recording. You have to constantly (and I mean constantly) re arm the recorder. If the developer can add an adjustable delay it would be amazing! Without that it's next to unusable. The recognition is fantastic. An option to "save as" would be fantastic (title by speech, save to a default location). If these options are available and I've mised them I'll Change the review to 5 stars immediately.
