4 months ago, I had my baby, and I was looking for a solution to get rid of my extra pounds, which was clearly a difficult task after I gained 30 pounds during my pregnancy. What I love about the Diet Sensor app is the fact that it is the first nutritional tracking tool which considers not just calories intake per day, but the nutrients at each meal (i.e. - protein, carbs and fat per meal with a goal for each). I lost weight without stress and without restriction. My fitness activities are also taken into account by the app which is a really big plus. I highly recommend this app because it is really easy to use and ver effective. This app brings a different approach where you don't have to restrict yourself to already established diet plans. You can create your own diet plan with Diet Sensor's meal suggestions.

This app has a horrible user interface. As a new user I'm trying to go through the tutorial. Fist of all entering foods an extremely tedious forcing me to manually enter everything and then not really letting me change the amount of what I ate. I ate 12 nuts but the app wants me to enter this as a portion of 1/4 cup. It will let me edit the first field but not the second. I would prefer to scan a barcode and then enter the amount that I ate. Even better since you're already connected to fitbit just import my food logs from there. Ditto for my water. At the end of each part of the tutorial it goes some odd place, and I have to go back to the menu and find the tutorial tab labeled "Discover the App" and then continue. The entry scrolling doesn't roll over in many instances. In completing my profile it won't let me enter my usual mealtimes which it should, so I don't have to manually change it every day. Next up is the "Activate Notifications" I activate them, but then the card still doesn't have a checkmark and when I tap it the notifications aren't activated. Now water when I try to enter my daily goal of hydration in fl. oz. it only lets me enter numbers less than 1. More

I was so hopeful that this app wouldn't be another fat phobic weight centered BS app because they actually have an option in the introduction to select epilepsy as the primary reason for dieting which is why I am currently dieting. Alas, as soon as it got through the first 3 questions I was bombarded with questions about losing weight WHICH I SHOULD NOT AND DO NOT WANT TO DO! Not only am I 5'6" and struggle to stay 135lbs or more, I AM SEVERELY EPILEPTIC which means my brain NEEDS fat rn.
