★★★★★ Pros: Intuitive gameplay. Balanced grind so purchased rewards are truly optional. You keep exp and power ups on death so every run gains you something and feels worthwhile. Gold earned during runs is sufficient to increase stats to make the next run easier. Cons: May just be my phone sucking, but verrrrrrrryyy sloooooowwwwww load times from one screen to the next. I've walked my dogs, made coffee and had some toast while staring at the black screen waiting for the level to load. There is also occasional lag during the level itself which can lead to mis-tapped controls and accidental death. Could be good or bad depending on your taste: Fast-paced and requires your full attention. If I'm playing during my commute for example and want to give up my seat on the train, taking my attention off the screen for those few seconds will kill me. The writing is broken English, though the meaning is generally clear so that's not a big deal and for some this may add to the lowered indie charm. I would have liked more explanation of how the fighting mechanics work, how to recognize portals, descriptions of enemies etc. But all those things can be figured out through gameplay. With the amount of grinding this game requires, players will definitely have a chance to "learn by doing."
