WHAT DIGIRAKSHA DOES
- Blocks adult content, gambling, scam and malware websites
- Enforces Google SafeSearch where supported
- Tracks screen time and app usage across every app on the device
- Lets parents remotely lock a child's device, pause internet access or set bedtime schedules
- Alerts parents the moment a new app is installed on a child's device
- Shares a child's live location with parents for peace of mind
- Child mode on the parent's own phone for when kids borrow it
- Runs quietly in the background, designed for minimal impact on battery and speed

HOW DIGIRAKSHA WORKS
DigiRaksha is a parental monitoring app, built for parents to supervise and protect their children's device usage. To do this, DigiRaksha uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect which app is in the foreground in real time. This is what powers app blocking, Social Shield, Install Lock and screen time enforcement. It also uses this permission to detect if a child attempts to disable DigiRaksha's protection or factory-reset the device. DigiRaksha does not read the content of messages, photos, or any app outside of Android's Settings screen, and operates with a persistent notification at all times so it is never hidden from the device user.

DigiRaksha uses Android's VPN feature only to filter unsafe websites on the device. Filtering decisions happen on the device; allowed requests go to a standard DNS resolver.

PRIVACY FIRST
DigiRaksha never reads messages, photos or calls, and never stores browsing history. You get the protection and visibility that matters, without invasive surveillance.
