Subscribed last month, and I'm quite satisfied so far. Great selections of shows, and it seems like it's growing. Some shows have english subs but not all but I personally don't need them, but be warned if your Japanese is not yet advanced. I also have a problem casting to Chromecast, but they sent an email today saying they're working on it. App doesn't work on my tablet (the app works, but the video is all black) but works perfectly on my phone and laptop. All they need now is live Japanese TV!

Worst app. We have so many issues. App crashing...can't log in...contacted support, and they claim there is now issue.well with our phones.there is... it's a bug...somewhere.bit they won't admit it...not using until fixed... don't want to fix...then we are not using... simple...

Does not provide what shows are available until after you have signed up. Very limited selection of old shows and movies freely available out there. I am more than happy and willing to pay the $10 monthly fee if there are more than 5–10 titles available even if they are dated. Cancelled after second day of the one-week free trial. Why force people to pay for cable before having TV Japan as an option? Please provide TV Japan as a service online.

Three months after users reporting issues and still can't cast properly to Chromecast. The show will restart from the beginning after about a minute. It has worked before (and had issues before years ago) but it seems these issues go back several months without being addressed. Why hasn't this been repaired yet? I restarted my subscription to not be able to use it.
