Comments on Dog Whistle - Stop Barking for Android

★★★★★ Liz LaMont · May 28, 2026

This app has worked better than $200 worth of anti dog barking devices. Yes, we spent that much money on barking activated silent high sound frequency (read: silent to humans but annoying to dogs) devices. They did not work. This works! The fact that you can change the frequency of the pitch makes it even better. Finally, the neighbor's dogs shut up. Thank you!

I had a barking dog in my apartment building I loaded this, and you just have to set the sound to a high level then press on the red whistle the dog stopped barking immediately it works.

Ads keep popping up over the app, some of them taking multiple back button presses or home menu button presses just to get the app available to use again. Even a few minutes apart, so if there's a barking session that won't stop, the ads get in the way of whistling at them consistently. And finally the cardinal sin that made me uninstall, an embedded/banner ad auto-played audio and only stopped when I force stopped Dog Whistle.

Useless. Had no effect to the dogs and cats in any frequency
