DogEar is a focused property inspection log that helps you document room‑by‑room findings the moment you spot them. The workspace feels like a sturdy clipboard, where every defect becomes a sticky note with a distinct dog‑ear corner and a color that matches its severity. From the Capture tab you add a new finding by giving it a title, choosing the room with a quick‑pick grid, and toggling between Minor, Major, or Critical. The form requires a title and a room before the flat pencil icon saves your entry, so no incomplete record slips through. All findings live exclusively on your device without accounts or cloud connections, making the app fully offline and private. The Home tab shows two metallic clip counters that display your total issues logged today and the number of open items, giving you an instant read on your workload. Just below, the three most recent findings appear with severity‑colored dots and handwritten‑style room labels, so you can recall what you last touched. The Findings tab lists every record in a searchable, scrollable view, where a tap opens the details for editing and a left swipe removes the entry entirely. Over on the Board tab, your findings are arranged into three clean vertical lanes for Open, In Progress, and Resolved, turning each item into a small glowing rectangle that reveals its urgency at a glance. Moving a finding between columns is a simple status update, letting you track progress from discovery to resolution without extra steps. Soft cork strips and the warm pressed‑wood background reinforce the physical inspection board feeling, while gentle empty‑state illustrations show you exactly where to start when a board or list is clear. By keeping the entire create‑read‑update‑delete cycle local, DogEar ensures your walkthroughs stay fast, organized, and free of distraction.
