Can I rent more than one bike at once? Yes, you can rent up to 5 bikes at once! Just make sure to select the correct number of vehicles right at the beginning of your booking process.
Can I leave the bike anywhere? No. We work hard with the cities to keep the streets clean and accessible for everyone. Please return your Donkeys to specific drop-off locations when you are done for the day.
What if I have issues? Our support team is always happy to help and understands that life happens.

Just Ride (Pay as you go) With no strings attached. Just Ride is ideal for trips from 15 mins to a few hours. You can also top up your Donkey Wallet with money and we will give you bonus credit that you can use for Just Riding.
Day Deals In some cities, we have rolled out day deals which are great for when you just need a bike for the 1,2,3, or up to 7 days. Visiting for a weekend or inspired to explore like a local when you're on vacation? This is the perfect solution for you or a guest visiting you.
Monthly memberships With a Donkey membership, you pay a fixed monthly fee and get a certain amount of free time per day. If you exceed the included daily free time, your rental is extended for a low fixed cost. Ideal for the daily commute and for a busy city life with multiple errands throughout the day. Valid in all Donkey cities.

I picked up a bike outside my hotel, in The Hague. And I rode it to the city center, in The Hague. When I arrived the app told me that this particular bike needed to be returned to Amsterdam, 9.2 km away and that if I did not return it there I would be charged €50. Prior to this, I received no warning that this bike had to be returned to a different city, only that it should be returned to 'a collection point'. Predatory garbage app. Avoid it.

Bikes and service is amazing, app is horrible. I've only been using Donkey Republic for a month or two and think I've seen the timeout error and "oops, ending your rental failed" more than I've seen my mother since birth. More than half of the times I need to kill and relaunch the app when it says "connected to lock" because the "push the orange lever to lock your bike" simply does not appear, and I need to wait more than 30 secs for the timeout error to appear...

Pick up and drop off your bike at very few specific points, sometimes closer to where you started than to your destination. Today, when I arrived at my destination with the bike, all the nearest drop off points were full, and I was asked to ride back to the drop-off point (6 min) and walk back to my destination (18 min). Not using this ridiculous system again and won't recommend it. Public transport is faster AND CHEAPER, why would I use Donkey?
