I like the game, but maxwell can't use his powers do to a bug so all he gives you is some gear and sanity regen.

Only real issue with it is bugs. I don't think the controls are objectively bad. Really a preference thing and getting it down. Pretty sure it's just me though. One glitch I've seen across rog pe and multiple devices is the camera freezing. It only happens here and there, but I do have to completely exit the game or go to the volcano/caves to fix it. I'm loving the new update too much, just thought they would've fixed more bugs. I'd take basically new content over minor fixes any day though.

Shipwrecked is an incredible DLC to an already great game, however, I would much prefer if it was simply available for purchase in the already existing Don't Starve: Pocket Edition, as the inability to combine worlds is a disappointment. It could also pave the way for a potential Hamlet addition, which I would love to see. Great experience overall, especially for a mobile port.

Crashes when entering the volcano and makes the game save unplayable. If you don't plan for anything inside the volcano then the game works well, but the Volcano has some nice perks that you'll miss out on.

After this new update in Aug 2025 some issues has been fixed but new bugs has emerged making this unplayable. The most noticeable fixes was "Shipyard", previously it only fixed your boat when the players are on the boat and did not when the boat is docked, but it is fixed now. But now game crashes with" LUA" error when harvesting fish from fish farm or when bringing Doydoy together, and they start mating. Sep 16, 2025: Maxwell's codex umbra is unusable, there is no "use" option, only "examine"
