DoTT Lens

ParentView shows you how your child is doing in their professional training course — in simple language, in a few seconds.
Most training portals are built for students and staff. Parents get spreadsheets, mark sheets and technical jargon. ParentView takes the same information and answers the questions a parent actually has: Is my child attending? Are they learning? Is anything going wrong? And what should I do about it?
Everything that matters, on one screen
Open the app and the home screen gives you the whole picture: an overall progress score on an easy-to-read dial, a quick summary of attendance, coding practice, assignments and test scores, what is happening today, anything that needs your attention, and the good news worth celebrating. Tap any card to go deeper.
What you can follow
• Overall progress — one score, one plain-English rating: Excellent, Very Good, Good or Needs Attention
• Attendance — a month calendar showing present, absent, leave and late days, plus the history and reason behind every absence
• Course progress — each subject with the topics already finished, the topic being taught now, and what comes next
• Coding practice — problems solved, success rate, practice streak, and easy/medium/hard breakdown week by week
• Assignments — submitted, pending and late, with scores and mentor comments
• Tests — every test score, what went right, and the exact area to improve
• Project work — what your child is building, explained without technical terms, and how far along it is
• Mentor feedback — your child's strengths and the points being worked on, in the mentor's own words
• Fees — total, paid, remaining, due date and full payment history
• Class schedule — the weekly timetable
• Certifications and achievements — exams cleared, credentials earned, milestones reached
• Weekly and monthly reports — what changed since last time, and whether the trend is up or down
Built for parents, not for engineers
Every number comes with a word. 93% is not just a figure, it is "Excellent". Colours mean the same thing everywhere in the app: green is good, orange needs your attention, red is important. No dashboards to decode and no terminology to look up.
More than one child
Have two or three children in training? Switch between them from the home screen. Each child keeps their own progress, attendance, fees and updates.
Never miss an update
Notifications for absences, fee reminders, test results, new assignments and mentor messages — with the important ones marked clearly, and an unread count so nothing gets lost.
Comfortable to read
The app respects your phone's text size setting, so if you use larger text everywhere else, ParentView follows. Layouts adapt to phones and tablets, in portrait or landscape.
Stay involved without interrupting
You do not need to call the mentor to find out how your child is doing, and your child does not need to be asked every evening. Open the app, take ten seconds, and you know.
ParentView is a parent-facing companion for students enrolled in a training program. Access is linked to your child's enrolment.
