Doublets is the legendary word puzzle invented by Lewis Carroll in 1879. The rules couldn't be simpler: start with a word, change a single letter at a time, and reach the target word in as few steps as possible. The catch? Every intermediate step must be a real word.
HOW TO PLAY
You are given two words of equal length: a starting word and a target word. Your goal is to build a chain of valid words that connects them, changing only one letter per step.
For example: CAT to COT to DOT to DOG
Each word in the chain must be a real dictionary word. The fewer steps you take, the better your score. Find the shortest possible path and prove your mastery.
