Patience is a virtue... The files ARE downloading, people!!! True, the counter staying at zero is disconcerting, but you can easily hit d/l then your Android home button and it will work in the background. No auto killers obviously. A small pop up will tell u when its done. Large files can take awhile ESP if your not on a quick internet signal. 150MB of hi res video takes me about 10-15 mins .... and that's on 4g wimax Wi-Fi. I have a rooted tablet and have used this app on every android OS from froyo on thru to my current ICS (4.0.3 team DRH ftw! ) works like a charm. A bit slow but not NEEEARLY as agonizing as a drop box "sync" And there is NO possibility of accidental erasure if you inadvertently sync to a blank file and drop box does a null sync. I found drop box utterly useless for Android until I discovered this imperfect gem of an app. Try a really small file like an e-book or an .apk. And oi file explorer is only needed for the setup of your default download location. After your first d/l you can get rid of it if you prefer another browser. Sure it has as couple small bugs... but works great, doesn't autorun, has a small file and sips RAM, and it's freaking free. Read a little before you 1star

Nice concept Too bad it doesn't work at all. All I get is login failed, even after triple checking my credentials.

Good, but needs another app? Dropbox doesn't do downloading well enough, and this app fixes the problem. However, it's pretty lame that it requires another File Manager app to download. That's retarded considering I already have a file manager. I'll rate again when it no longer needs another app to do what this app is supposed to do and advertised to do.

Can it be trusted? I just tried this out, and it asks you to manually log in, possibly compromising your password. It also requires you to install a third party file manager. Folder Downloader For Dropbox requires neither of these. I used it instead and was not disappointed.
