Description
Downwell is a curious game about a young boy venturing down a well in search of untold treasures with only his Gunboots to protect him. Make your way further and further down into the darkness filled with nasty creatures and mysterious secrets to collect the spectacular red gems scattered about the rocks. Step into precariously placed shops and buy some helpful items or level up between levels to battle well-dwelling monsters and uncover hidden caves filled with riches and relics. No two trips down the well are ever the same!

Yet again, Devolver has created a great game to pass time with. The controls are great, and the gameplay is fun, while challenging. The game is also rewarding, since it's easy to get all of the items. I've improved in this game in the past day I've played it, also.

Love this game on both console and PC but mobile version really sours your mood. Controlls are too low on screen so you can't see what's coming up. Impossible to see through your fingers to know if you're in air or on ground. Not necessarily the game or dev's fault- just don't think this game works well on phones. (LG XCharge)

you can't mute the sound effects, so game is unplayable with music or podcasts. game hasn't been updated in three years. I saw this complaint on Twitter on THE DAY it was launched on Android so clearly no one is working on it. Annoyingly, this is apparently an option on the IOS version. Maybe you don't care, but if you do just be aware.
