Comments on Doze Stopper for Android

★★★★☆ Mista Cee · Jun 18, 2025

With the recent 4.5 update I'm missing notifications now. Checked the log, and it does not show if the phone was taken out of doze state anymore. 4.4 was much better, did not miss any notifications, and log showed when phone was taken out of doze state all the time. Reverted back to 4.4. ++I'm still getting "The device has been released from doze state" in the 4.4 version of the app in the log, and I'm getting my notifications now.

Pixel 6a - I had some issues with the app only working intermittently, but it seems to have been fixed now. Thanks for fixing, dev!

★★☆☆☆ Glitchy Glitchy · Jun 3, 2025

It used to work, but IDK if it was the recent update or the switch to Android 15, but it's taking several minutes to release from Doze state now, if it does at all.

★☆☆☆☆ 1eyedG · Nov 4, 2024

Doesn't work. Still getting delayed notifications. Shows items in the logged summary but not working.

★☆☆☆☆ KING DARTHROG · Nov 2, 2024

Didn't do anything. It recorded the logs of it working, but no actual changes to notification priority.

★☆☆☆☆ Jerrod Stuart · Jan 6, 2025

This app may or may not disable doze, but it has definitely disabled my bedtime mode and dark mode schedules. I've turned off doze stopper and uninstalled, with no change. At this point I'm not sure how to revert without resetting my phone.
