★★★★★ It is overall a great old game, with the port pretty much adjusting the most impala table elements of the original version to a modern audience.

★★★★★ Dragon Quest II on NES/AMISOM is often considered one of the weaker games in the series--however, this port features updated visuals (superior to the Nintendo Switch version), music, localization, and improved balancing to make it feel more like the rest of the series. This is a great way to experience a true JRPG classic.

★★★★★ Dragon Warrior II was good too, when it was on the NES. I like how they changed the Warrior to Quest. Never finished DW2 but I did finish it on DQ2 Haha.

★★☆☆☆ It's a good game BUT the spawn rate for monster's is way too high. Don't buy if you can't HANDEL not being able to take 2 steps without fighting a monster.

★★☆☆☆ I played the original long ago loved it but never finished it. Got this remake on android a long while back thinking I'll finally beat it. The encounter rate is WAY TOOO HIGH! I can't take more than 3 steps anywhere without an encounter and that is on plain ground. If I walk into forested areas/hills the encounter rate is almost every single step!! Why? This is absolutely ridiculous the encounter rate was nowhere near this in the original. EDIT: I can't deal with this encounter rate. Deleted!

★★☆☆☆ Every 10 steps I have to encounter enemies. I'm a long time player of JPGs but no game has such excessive grinding. Please fix it by reducing enemy encounters.

★★☆☆☆ Game is bugged. I've searched the moon tower for days, literally and the moon fragment is just not there. The moon sigil was but not the moon fragment. I've uninstalled a reinstalled. Same result. Patch this problem already!
