Does What it Says, But Not What I Want I already have GPS and AIS based anchor drag alarms. They work fine and are on equipment intended for marine use and are on all the time away from a dock anyway. What I want is an anchor alarm that lets me know when I have swung out of a particular sector. Perhaps they'll add this eventually and perhaps someone will come along with a android device built for use in the marine environment. Tired of having to keep my android stuff in a box.

Looks like a good idea. Tried it on a recent sailing trip. There is a math error such that the longitude comes up negative (-82 degrees for Florida). This is minor if consistent. My real problem with it is that I would enable the alarm, but every time I went back in to check it, the alarm was off. It never made a sound even though we did drag the anchor that night. And it didn't make a sound as we left anchor the next morning. I need to experiment some with this, but I think it is a bit rough yet.

Depends on your boat On my boat, gps reception in the cabin is intermittent on my Samsung Droid. Makes the drag queen useless. It depends on the thickness and materials of your hull and cabin.

Lollipop Worked well with Android 4.4 stopped working with 5.0 Lollipop. Been out for the last 6 mo. and really miss it on my phone ( Nexus 5 ). Could you please fix it? !!!!
