DRI COPILOT: Vehicle Care

Your car has a history you did not write, and a future other owners already lived.

DRI COPILOT is a car-care app for the person who owns the car. Add your vehicle once; from then on it tells you what maintenance is due, what is known to fail on that exact year and model, and what the car costs you.

WHAT GOES WRONG WITH YOUR MODEL
Every complaint, service bulletin and recall on file for your exact year and model, read and laid out against the mileage you are at now. Not a reliability score — the specific parts, the mileage they tend to go, and where the claim comes from.

A RECORD THAT GOES WITH THE CAR
Log a service, photograph the receipt, and it becomes part of one document: what was done, when, at what mileage, by whom, for how much. Export it as a single file when you sell, or hand the whole record to the next owner along with the keys. Complete, verifiable service records are what move a car into the Excellent condition tier — one only about 3% of used cars reach. That grade is published by Kelley Blue Book, an independent US vehicle valuation guide; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them, and cite it so you can check the claim instead of taking our word for it.

POINT THE CAMERA AT IT
A warning light you do not recognize. A tire that looks off. A puddle under the car. A part someone just quoted you for. Photograph it and get a reading in seconds. It points you in the right direction — your mechanic makes the call.

MAINTENANCE AT YOUR MILEAGE
What is due, what is overdue and what is coming next, built from your car and the miles it has actually done rather than a schedule printed the same for everyone. When we do not know something about your car, the app says so instead of guessing.

WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS
Fourteen roadside guides for the first few minutes, chosen by what you are seeing. They work with no signal.

Recent changes:
Known problems now answer for far more vehicles. Looking your model up was failing for hybrids and for vehicles the federal database spells differently, so the page came back empty. Now it finds them, and when there is no official record it researches elsewhere instead of giving up.

Adding a vehicle is more accurate too: minivans are no longer filed as SUVs, and the spec sheet fills in more of what we already know about your car.
