Description
DriftGuard: Gamepad Maintenance Tool
DriftGuard is a gamepad calibration and controller diagnostics tool for Android. Connect your supported PlayStation or Xbox controller via USB, test analog stick movement in real time, detect stick drift, and use calibration tools designed to reduce light controller drift and improve precision.
Use DriftGuard to check analog stick accuracy, monitor dead zones, diagnose irregular input behavior, and calibrate supported controllers after analog stick replacement or Hall effect sensor installation.
Supported Controllers
DriftGuard supports permanent calibration for original PlayStation controllers, including DualShock 3, DualShock 4, DualSense, DualSense Edge, PSVR2 controllers, and Access controllers.
DriftGuard also supports Xbox controllers, including Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S/X, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox Elite V1/V2, and Scuf Instinct Pro.
Compatibility with third-party, modified, or counterfeit controllers is not guaranteed.
Key Features
• Real-time analog stick diagnostics • Stick drift detection and analysis • Gamepad calibration for supported controllers • Permanent controller calibration where supported • Hall effect sensor calibration support • Interactive stick movement visuals • Event logging for diagnostics and calibration changes • Simple USB controller detection on Android
Important Notice
Stick drift is often caused by worn mechanical parts inside the analog stick module. DriftGuard can help reduce or eliminate light stick drift in supported controllers, but severe drift may still require analog stick repair or replacement.

The app itself is very helpful to fix stick drift either temporary or permanently, it's not very hard to use on how to calibrate your controller, in fact it's very easy to do just by using USB-C to USB-C or whatever your phone port is, it might not he better than a PC, but it is great for ones who don't have a computer or laptop, it helped me today to calibrate the problem, I'd recommend this app for those who are having stick drift right now.

I hope you can improve the center calibration similar to this website: dualshock-tools

Great app! Perfect for if you change the sticks to TMR/hall effect and need to calibrate them.
★★★★★Jeremy L· May 26, 2026
Unfortunately although the website says it's compatible with Xbox controllers, it is not. EDIT: My apologies. Thanks dev. Will wait for Android update.

Doesn't work. The controller is paired to the phone but the app still says device not connected.

All this did was tell me that I had stick drift, which I already knew, but not how to fix it. Oh! And if you love watching ads every 5 seconds then this app is for you. Complete waste of space.

I feel like I used this or a similar app before on an older phone, but this is definitely not working. My previous phone was a Galaxy Note 3. This one is an A54 with usbc connection. I am wanting to test my LED since it's currently showing colors incorrectly. But I can't even connect. I have multiple dongles to connect many different controllers to many different phones. But this app won't recognize my simple PS4 controller. Guess I'll keep searching.

This app was advertised for Xbox controllers but only supports PlayStation
