I've been using this app for years now and feel I have a great understanding of the app. It's frigging GREAT! It save my a$$ from some "lady" as she tried to accuse me of coming close to hitting her while she waited to cross the road at a VA Hospital. She turned me in to the Federal VA police. They grabbed me to arrest me. Then I showed them the drive recording from the app. They apologized to me and went after her. Not much else to say but get this app and save yourself from false accusations!

Awesome app if you don't havr an actual dash cam. All rideshare drivers need to use this. So far it's great. But let's see how things go when I try to save all videos/rides ive given tonight

Had been using the free version of this app for several months, and it was excellent, with limited ads. Now there are intrusive video ads that use up data, which makes it useless for me. And there's no way I'm paying $14.99 per WEEK! My limit would be closer to $5 per MONTH. So I'll be exploring other apps or just putting my dashcam back up. Too bad.

Used to be my most used app. Now it has picture in picture (why?) and stops recording when you turn the screen off. Don't get me started in the adverts. Now it's my most useless app. Uninstalled.

This app didn't work even once. It was confusing to set up the recording location since it gave a location which didn't indicate internal or external location.

Redmi 9A running Android 11, I can't get Google Maps to display in picture-in-picture mode on top of Drive Recorder. I also can't get Drive Recorder to record in the background. As soon as I press record then switch to another app like Google Maps, it stops recording automatically. I've tried all the settings. Droid Dashcam worked fine with Google Maps... Google Maps would display in picture-in-picture mode on top while Droid Dashcam recorded. If you have any suggestions I'd appreciate it.
