For tomorrow's urban mobility: DriveNow and car2go merge to create BMW's and Daimler's joint car sharing service.
As a DriveNow Customer you have access to more than 20.000 vehicles in our app with a wide variety such as the flexible Smart, sporty MINI as well as the modern A-class and the dynamic BMW X2.
With SHARE NOW you are not tied down with fixed stations, our cars are parked all over the DriveNow Zone in your city. You will be able find cars parked in public parking spots throughout the city and you can also leave them at any public spot.
For example start your rental on one side of the city and just end it directly in your street! In contrast to traditional car rental, it is also possible to rent a car for just a short time with the DriveNow app. You pay only for the minutes you drive, we take care of the rest - parking, refueling, vehicle tax and insurance costs.
You can find SHARE NOW in seven german cities, 19 european cities and 30 times worldwide.

Impossible to use in Helsinki. Asking to take sharenow. So I did. But need to redo another account while it says that we do not need ... Anyway once we open Sharenow it asks to open Drivenow to take the car. Non sense.

Bought a 3 hours package when booking a car, thinking that is the option to buy a package with credits for future use and, apparently, the remaining credits are not added if the car is used for less than 3 hours.... The difference between buying a hour package and a credit package is confusing

Anyone considering to install this app, please run away. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time (and money) trying to use this service! I signed up on the 22.04.2019 and paid a registration fee of 19€. However, I have never been able to use this service. I can never log into my account. And trying to reset my password is useless anyway because the link sent to me by email is always expired. I have contacted the customer service several times in the last 8 months. After answering to all of their questions and trying all their suggestions they forward my case to the IT department and ask me for "some patience" (by the way, they always ask me the same questions and suggest me the same workarounds - a serious customer service should at least log previous incidents/tickets for each of their customers). The reply from the IT service sometimes comes late (2 week or longer) but sometimes it does never come. Moreover, I am a Google Pixel phone user so I always have the most-up-to-date Android version (with the latest security updates). Therefore, I doubt my system/phone is the one to blame. I have used other car-sharing services around the world and, from my experience, this is by far the worst (mainly because they are unable to solve my issue and I have never been able to actually use the service). I am very disappointed with the service. Thanks.
