Please READ In the beginning ppl were nieve to believe resistant screens(early vrz LG touchscreens, Samsung highlight HTC) would say on market even with capatative (note galaxy new age phones) so the app stayed with the only way to work.. On resistive (meaning u have to push down not just a touch) to work. That's where the weight comes into factor. The screens had flex, but not all the flex points were the same spec in every phone. LG had a linger throw them Samsung thus annihilating and future development.
