Comments on Drumgenius: Rhythm Mastery for Android
★★★★★David R.· Aug 9, 2021
Great app for practice and gives me a huge range of rhythms, styles and speeds. Great for keeping my bass timing rock solid. Way better than a metronome. Good price for so much material from a real drummer, not a machine. Mauro was also very helpful when I lost my credits along with my phone, and helped solve it with a full credit. I would give it ten stars if I could.

Pro musician. Great app, it replaces your metronome with perfect drum beats to practice over. Mega fun!
★★★★☆Peter Bennett· May 6, 2021
Good quality but the loops seem to aimed at drummers for learning purposes, rather that as a 'drum metronome' for other musicians. Loads of jazz and fancy stuff hardly any country, country rock, mainstream pop/rock, Americana etc

Currently, none of the loops will download for me. I tried the basics, including uninstall/reinstall, but I can't download or play the loops. I give 2 stars because it used to work pretty good. [I get a message "Error downloading 1 loop" for every loop, and every download fails.]

I just bought the "infinite" package, but it's not being reflected in the app. In fact, I can't download any loops now. What's happening?

Spend more downloading then anything. After download 3 it's $$$ for More. Scam. Not for jam along but is for drummers learning to play drums. Sucks

I'm not able to access any loops. It's saying 'permissions are not granted'. I go to app info, there are no permissions requested. What can I do?

Slow - under 80bpm - loops do not play properly on Android 12. Just a loud hissing with very faint odd beats underneath. Very disappointing. If it worked properly it might be ok. faster loops are better. Changing the internal player between classic and exoplanet, whatever that is - not explained, makes no difference. Also no idea what clave is. having bought the full set I feel pretty ripped off when half of the loops don't work.
