I was a big fan. DDG violated their own agreement by giving OUR data to Micros lop and not blocking Micros lop trackers. DDG also promotes MSN (Micros lop) in their search engine. My advice: Use TrackerContol or Net Guard to block trackers & use Mojeek as a private search engine. This browser isn't safe to me. I've also removed the @duck email alias-who knows if they were giving THAT to Microsoft as well. Also, the browser seeming has trackers in it... DDG lived long enough to become the villain.

There is an issue with this app since April 9, 2026. An ad blocks my DuckDuckGo app opening every time. The ad interrupts the function of my main browser 24/7. I have tried all the troubleshooting techniques to solve the problem. I screenshot and screen record the issue as it is happening. Do I need to learn how to live with this issue? Should I delete DuckDuckGo and find another browser? DDG has been a solid solution for me for years, but I cannot report DDG as having been the problem.

On Samsung A13 used to work fine & LoVeD the built-in security.... Until did the update today, and it doesn't matter if tried to open it from the app or from INSIDE Play Store~won't open. Tried to uninstall & reinstall; now it PaRtIaLy opens (see the duck saying welcome) then it closes again, again tried opening it in Play Store BUT Now get a sentence that says "There's a bug in the app & re-install it After The Developers Fix It" No mention when that'll be.😢 Btw, no probs w/ it is on a 2013 Moto X4
