Duet for HP

★★★★★ Very good, even I use it for a quick sketch.

★★★★★ I don't have a desk with an extra monitor, but sometimes it's really helpful to have a second display for my laptop. Duet lets me use my android phone and my iPad to extend my desktop and really helps with productivity and is much cheaper and more convenient than buying another monitor.

★★☆☆☆ Useless on my Android phone (USB connected). Poor responsiveness & constantly switching orientation (then adjusting resolution) & after I switched the phone orientation to forced vertical, Duet didn't respect it, & after closing Duet it left normally vertical portions of my phone system in horizontal-only orientation until I reset orientation to *either* V or H at which point the phone system corrected itself, whew! Horrible - they want HOW MUCH for a subscription to this junk? Uninstall...

★★☆☆☆ Add ability to change 'plan' or start a trial; leveraging Google Play (Google Play Subscriptions w/GPay). I think the app has potential, although I've yet to see it.

★★☆☆☆ Continuously complains that my stock HP laptop is not an "authorized HP computer". Reinstalled drivers, deleted and installed iTunes, reinstalled android app and still the same message. I even tried the Wi-Fi method, but it wouldn't take the IP. It said it was connected once on the PC, but the app kept on saying it wasn't an authorized HP. An hour I'll never get back. And now I find out that they don't give you a way to delete your account! I'm done.

★★☆☆☆ I bought this program after it being recommended on a YouTube video about being able to mirror my Mac. I would like to say that it isn't as easy as anyone tells you. I was emailing back and forth for days with the support team. In the end I got it working with my Chromebook, and Duet was kind enough to issue me with a full refund. Then, when I came to use it with a PC, I had to get back in touch with the same person, who told me that I would also have to pay for Duet Air to be able to mirror to a PC. So I signed up for a 7-day free trial. After spending hours again trying to connect it, I had such a massive headache, that I have now deleted the program, and don't think I would ever use it again. I would however like to give the member of the support team, Hector, who was the one helping me all the way, 10/10 for his support and willingness to help me. I really couldn't fault him at all!! So even though I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, the support team are the best!!!
