Dungeon Sketch is a lo-fi tactical combat map for tabletop roleplaying games such as Dungeons and Dragons. This is meant to replace the whiteboard or graph paper that sits in the middle of a gaming table.
The application provides a vector drawing utility, and a collection of images to use as tokens representing players, monsters, or anything else. There is nothing specific to a particular roleplaying system.
This is a HUGE update to the original Dungeon Sketch, with lots of bug fixes and new features. Check out the "What's New" section!
Features include: * Three layers to draw on: a background, hidden notes for the game master (put your traps there!), and temporary annotations such as spell effects. * Lots of intuitive draw tools to support any sort of map you want to draw. * Fog of War: Set up a map ahead of time and reveal it to your players room-by-room. * Import your own images to use as tokens in the game, or choose from a large library of provided tokens. * Manage, tag, and filter tokens, so you can easily drop them in as you play. * Save and load maps, so you can prepare your game ahead of time. * Color themes ranging from classic whiteboard and graph paper to more thematic colored backdrops. * Rectangular and Hex Grids.
New features in this play store re-launch include: * Import background images * Better support for free-form notes on the GM Notes layer * Better token library, with support for nested tags * Chromecast a view of the map to your TV, so the entire table can follow along * Support for phones as well as tablets * Material Design * Lots of bugfixes and performance improvements!

This app is perfect. This is exactly what I was looking for. With the background feature I can just choose a map I like from Google, upload it, and stretch it to the right width. This has IMMENSELY simplified my campaign creation and would definitely pay for this if it were an option. Love the tokens too!

Well I gave ya 4 stars but I wanna give u 5. This app is great a little clunky at times but exactly what I need. Memory on line thickness as well as color would b nice but it's not a big deal. My only real issues are the cast doesn't work for crap and there is no real way to share maps. If at least u could get one or the other that would be great. Other apps like this either try and do too much or are just far too glitchy and while this one isn't glitch less it is pretty well functioning. Also a donate button would b nice...I want this app to be better and more awesome then it already is let us(the users) help ya out a bit with that

The app crashes every time I go to use it.

Whenever I make a rectangle using the rectangle tool and then try to erase part of it, the rectangle moves down and to the right a little. This sucks when I'm making the rectangle right on the lines and it moving moves them off the lines.

I wanted to use this app on a big TV screen casted from an Android tab. I can get it to cast a blank map to my screen but nothing I can do makes it cast anything drawn on the map. I've also tried it with a phone and it does exactly the same. Really disappointed 😞
