I have tried 2 cleaner programs AVG which I own, and I have tried Avast which I do not own. I also have tried Duplicates, and the other Duplicate Cleaner program all which are not very good but try them yourself because I do a lot of Snapshots. I have found that this program is much more reliable for my use for both photos, snapshots, and videos at almost a hundred percent. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because everyone can improve. I will own it shortly

Good for when a duplicate file finder app isn't enough. This one doesn't just scan for copies by file name, it actually scans the photos as well and even very similar ones. The only downside I found in the few minutes I used it, was when the scan is over and your results pop up. So you click the photos to see which one is better that you should keep, and when you back out of photo back to your scan results, all your prior photos checked to delete are gone. Can be worked around.

Unable to find duplicates, considers only file name. If same pic, same content renamed, app not considers it as duplicate.

Does a decent job of scanning for matches, however it doesn't allow you to only scan one folder, or it's sub folders. And worse than that it doesn't show you the names of the two files it finds that are duplicates, and it doesn't show you where they are even located, so you can decide which one you want to delete and which one you want to keep.

I'm afraid that I can't rate this app very high. I know for a FACT that I have duplicate images as I see them in Photos. Searching for them visually is too time-consuming however, hence the need for & app like this one. But not THIS app.
